The First Annual Conference was held August 31 - September 1, 1998.

The theme: "Rediscovering Biblical Counseling"
Dr. Henry Brandt - Internationally know speaker and author of The Heart of the Problem, and The Word to the Wise. Dr. Brandt has been a marriage and family counselor for more than 40 years.
Dr. John Babler - Assistant Professor, Chairman of Social Work & Ministry-Based Evangelism, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, Texas.
Dr. Rod Mays - Senior pastor at Woodruff Presbyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina.
Sid Galloway, B.S., M.Div. - Serves as one of the supervisors for certification for both NANC (National Assoc. of Nouthetic Counselors) and IABC (International Assoc. of Biblical Counselors). He was director of the Biblical Counseling & Training Center of FBC Slidell, Louisiana for nine years, and now directs Biblical Family Soulcare (a seminar, revival, internet, and radio ministry).
